Shafts for gearboxes

In the gearbox, there are two shafts, the input shaft and output shaft.
The input shaft is connected to the engine via the clutch and it turns at engine speed.
The output shaft is connected to the drive wheels and it turns at the speed determined by the gears selected.
On the input shaft there are fixed gears that transmits the torque at the output shaft via driven gears.
